 This is Gracie. She was born approx Feb. 10, 2008. She was abandoned at a construction site with her brothers. When she was rescued she was covered with Mites, Lice, & Ticks. After searching for a puppy for several months on petfinder.com, I came across a Chow mix. One look at her little face and I fell in love. My mom and I drove 6 hours each way to get this precious little girl. I adopted her March 30, 2008. Gracie has taught me so much since having her! My patience has increased 80%!! Gracie is a smart puppy. Her potty training is going well and she has learned to sit, stay, and shake paws. I can't tell you how much attention she attracts when I take her out- wow! She is such a blessing, I can't imagine life without her. |

 I just got my Dachshund, Stretch, 3 weeks ago. I was told he was born on 1/20/08 and is a Miniature Dachshund although by the looks of things he may grow quite a bit larger than a mini. Stretch can already play fetch! He is very cute and loves to cuddle and sleep with me. He also is very mischievous getting into absolutely anything and everything. He also loves to eat whatever he can including tree bark, rose bushes, my toes... Basically anything he can and I really do feed him good dog food!! I am looking forward to starting puppy training classes with Stretch a.s.a.p. |

SHOULD PUT DOGS LIKE THAT SOMEWHERE SO THAT THEY WILL BE FREE
AND TAKEN CARE OF UNTIL SOMEONE FINDS A HOME FOR THEM OR
SOMEONE COMES ALONG TO GIVE THEM A LOVING HOME. AS FAR AS
BUDDY WE HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN GOOD CARE OF HIM AT HOME AS WELL
AS VET VISITS. I TRY TO KEEP HIM HAPPY AND HEALTHY. NOT SURE OF
HIS AGE BUT EVEN THOUGH HE'S OLDER HE STILL HAS SOMEOF THAT PUPPY
IN HIM I THINK HE LOVES TO PLAY, LOVES PEOPLE STRANGE OR NOT, HE'S
VERY SMART, SOMETIMES I THINK HE'S HALF HUMAN HALF DOG :). HE IS
VERY WELL BEHAVED WHICH I STARTED WORKING WITH BUDDY RIGHT OFF AS A PUP AND HE HAS CONTINUED
TO BE WELL BEHAVED AND A JOY TO HAVE WE LOVE HIM VERY MUCH.
My tiny maltese, Petey Popcorn, is having a love affair with
a squirrel that frequents our front yard. They are constantly
looking each other over. Neither one seems afraid of the
other one. Just the other day, I thought they were going
to kiss!
Here’s my buddy, Bear, who LOVES being out in the snow.
Although he’s a Keeshond and not really a snow dog, he thinks
he is! I know he looks pitiful in this picture but it’s not because
he doesn’t like the snow. It’s because he’s been told that we’re
“all done” and have to go back inside.
American Bulldog. His DOB is 01/29/2008. He is only 10 weeks
old, and I can already tell that he is a very smart dog. I taught
Dwight the sit/stay command the first few days we had him. He
walks very well on a loose leash. Right now, he is learning to
use his doggy door. He is almost potty trained. He likes his crate,
so that is a good thing. I just don't trust him having the whole
house to himself right now.

I'm a Komondor, a Hungarian sheepdog and my job is to
protect my flock. Mum's a bit confused 'tho as she's only
given me a bunch of horses to guard. Here I am on my first
birthday, February 2008. At least Mum
knows that every birthday kid should get a big red ball!
Hello all ! This is Molly the Boston, she was a rescue who was
terribly abused and scared of everything. Now with lots of hard
work and tons of patience she is the PERFECT dog. She is
between 3&5 years old..who knows and about 15 lbs. Next is Ella
the Chocolate Min Pin. She is DELICIOUS ! She is taking agility
classes and showing the border collies how its done...LOL She
is 3 years old and 9 lbs. Then their is Macey, the Toy Fox Terrier.
She should join the circus!! She does super silly things
( like slipping a shoe on her head and walking
around bumping into things then gently placing it back on the
floor) and looks at you waiting for a laugh. She cracks us up!!
She is 2 years old. She broke her front leg when she was just
3 months old and will always have a metal pin and wires in it.
She lifts it up sometimes to run real fast but she is fine. :)
Then there is little Charlie, who thinks of the 3 girls as his "Angels" ....get it?? His is the BEST
little kid. He is almost a year old and just a little sugar. He had to have emergency surgery in
February 08 to remove a piece of hard plastic he ate and could not digest. It was HUGE! Poor
little guy....he's perfect again and loves his sisters. He weighs about 5 lbs.
This is our Jack Russell Terrier , Jake. She was about 1 yr
old here, she is almost 3 now. She loves walks, and running,
and snuggling.
Hi my name is Angel, I'm a 3 year old Calico female cat
who's mother was like a Siamese and my father I am unaware
of. I love eating my owner's fish food when shes not looking so
don't tell her, I also like watching the fish swim calmly in and
out of their rocks all day long. I love ripping the toilet paper
apart and scattering it all on the floor so my owner can clean
it up when she gets home from school. I also love my fellow
kitties, rabbit, and dogs, I have so many friends who live with
me so I'm not lonely.

tri coloured. He is very handsomebut a bit on the podgy
side but mum says it's all fur. When he see's water he
suddenly thinks he is a duckand just cannot resist even
if it is freezing cold he has to go bathing
and lolls from side to side. He has a complex character but
he is my boy and I love him.
This is my shih-tzu Barney. Nobody believes me -
they think he's a llasa. What do you guys think? Both
his mom and dad were on the premises when we adopted
him at 8 weeks, and they were both shih-tzu. Well, if
Barney isn't what we think he is, maybe we should blame....

 Hi -- I'm K'Ehleyr (pronounced Kay-lar). I chose my own name! I had three whiter than white stripes on my forehead when I was little and my owner said I looked like a Klingon. She said, "We'll have to name you 'K'ehleyr!'," 'cause that was the only female Klingon name she knew. Right away I responded to the sound of my new name and I became K'Ehleyr. It's a lot better than "Fiona," which is what I started with!! When I go to the vet it's a real challenge. Nurses just look at my appointment card puzzled. Eventually they figure out what to do...; they call out "Smith." Sometimes it pays to have such a pedestrian surname! |

 I'm a yellow lab with a great disposition that goes by the "people name" of Arlo. I rescued my people about 3 years ago. It was the oddest thing, I was just hangin out... I believe it was garbage day... You know, chillin' with my buds, looking for some snacks... and there they were! A couple of lonely gals with no dog! They looked healthy.They had a house and a yard and they way they approached me you knew they must have been owned before. I couldn't resist I just had to keep em'.
